HC Deb 30 June 1932 vol 267 c2007
37. Mr. TOUCHE

asked the Minister of Agriculture if he can give any further information as to the presence of musk rats in Surrey and as to the steps which have been taken to exterminate them?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Sir John Gilmour)

Since I replied to the question put to me by my hon. Friend on 20th June on this matter, no further musk rats have been seen in this neighbourhood, although a careful watch has been kept in the locality. This would seem to indicate that this infestation is, fortunately, not of a serious character.
