HC Deb 22 June 1932 vol 267 cc1086-7
21. Rear-Admiral SUETER

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether his attention has been called to the rescue of an airman after having been afloat for eight days on his machine in the Atlantic; and if he will ascertain what special floating devices this aeroplane had and whether these could be considered for service aeroplanes that are called upon to fly over the sea?

Sir P. SASSOON

Yes, Sir; inquiries are already being made.
