SASSOONThe number and estimated annual cost of the staff and employés at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough, in April, 1922. were 1,356 and £290,830 respectively, and in April, 1932, 1.342 and £321,600. I may add that the figures for 1032 include the major portion of the staff and cost of the Airworthiness and Technical Publications Departments which in April, 1922, were located at the Air Ministry.
