asked the Secretary of State for India whether the Government of India is in possession of the views of the inspectors general of police in Indian regarding the position of the police forces under a reformed constitution?

So far as I am aware, the Government of India have not consulted the inspectors general of police as such, but I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that I have con- stantly made it my business to inform myself of the feelings of the Services in general and the police in particular as to their position under a reformed constitution.
