HC Deb 16 June 1932 vol 267 c521
30. Captain SHAW

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs if he is aware that there is still delay on the part of the Irish Free State customs authorities in releasing goods consigned from this country; and if he will make representations to the Irish Free State authorities with a view to getting a quicker despatch?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

I have not previously received any representations on this subject, but, if the hon. and gallant Member will furnish me with particulars of any individual cases he has in mind, I will take the matter into consideration.
