HC Deb 16 June 1932 vol 267 c509
4. Mr. SMEDLEY CROOKE

asked the Minister of Labour if, when framing the promised legislation on unemployment insurance, he will consider the advisability of making an alteration dealing with the issue of green cards at Employment Exchanges, giving the unemployed who take the trouble to find work for themselves some compensating advantage over those who make no effort?

Sir H. BETTERTON

I should be glad if my hon. Friend would communicate with me in order that I may learn more precisely what he has in mind.
