The FIRST LORD of the ADMIRALTY (Sir Bolton Eyres Monsell)No officer or rating is invalided from the service for this cause unless he has been seen actually suffering from definite symptoms of the disease; the evidence must rest upon the testimony of reliable witnesses. In addition subsequent investigation is made to exclude other causes of fits. All these matters are thoroughly investigated by the Board of Survey before action is taken.
