§ 35. Mr. JOHN (for Sir W. JENKINS)asked the Lord President of the Council whether the Medical Research Council is still inquiring into the effect of coal dust upon underground workers who are suffering from anthracosis; and, if so, when will the report be published?
§ The LORD PRESIDENT of the COUNCIL (Mr. Baldwin)The matter continues to receive the attention of the Industrial Pulmonary Diseases Committee of the Medical Research Council, but I am advised that serious difficulties are still being met in finding trustworthy methods of investigation. There is at present no question of a report.
