of London, the London County Council, and elsewhere."—[Sir G. Hume.]
§ Mr. SPEAKERThis Amendment is not in order, because it would alter the rating authority, and therefore it would be necessary to recommit the Bill.
Sir H. YOUNGI understand that it would be necessary to recommit the Bill in order to deal with this Amendment. I raise no difficulty on the merits of the Amendment, but as regards procedure it will be necessary to recommit the Bill in respect of one or two other Amendments which I have to propose and if it will facilitate procedure I will include the Amendment of the hon. Member for Greenwich (Sir G. Hume) in the order for recommittal which I shall have to propose.
§ Mr. SPEAKERThat would be quite in order.
