Mr. HUDSONA centre has already been opened at Pontypridd. The other centres which it is proposed to open will probably be situated in Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Glasgow. As regards the selection of instructors, the Department has endeavoured to engage the best men available with suitable qualifications.
§ Mr. MAXTONCan the hon. Gentleman let Members have some Paper telling us the rules and regulations which are to govern attendance at these centres?
Mr. HUDSONThey were published the other day in answer to a question. I will send the hon. Member a copy.
§ Mr. TINKERWho will appoint the instructors? Will it be the local Exchanges or the Ministry of Labour?
Mr. HUDSONThe appointments will be made by the local controllers. They will be servants of the Department, and we are trying to get the very best men we can find in the localities.
