HC Deb 12 July 1932 vol 268 c1087
1. Mr. LEWIS

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs if he has any further statement to make as to the matters in dispute between this country and the Irish Free State?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

I have nothing to add to the statements which I made during the course of the Debates last week, wherein I made clear that the Government intend to put the Act into operation.

Mr. LEWIS

Do I understand that since that statement no further communication has been received by my right hon. Friend from the Government of the Irish Free State?

Mr. THOMAS

No communication of any sort.
