HC Deb 11 July 1932 vol 268 c889
45. Captain PETER MACDONALD

asked the Prime Minister if he has any statement to make with regard to the Lausanne Conference?

The LORD PRESIDENT of the COUNCIL (Mr. Baldwin)

Perhaps my hon. and gallant Friend would be good enough to await the statement which the Prime Minister proposes to make in the course of the Debate to-morrow.

Captain MACDONALD

In view of the uneasiness felt in certain quarters, will the Prime Minister, when he makes his statement, make it perfectly clear that this agreement is dependent on a satisfactory settlement of our debts with other countries?
