§ 36. Mr. LAMBERTasked the Minister of Agriculture how many Irish labourers are employed in Norfolk; from what part of Ireland do they come; what is the nature of the work; how long will it continue; and whether there are Norfolk labourers available for the work?
§ Sir J. GILMOURI am unable to give precise figures, but from such inquiries as I have been able to make, I have reason to suppose that the number of 886 of farm workers will be put out of employment?
§ Sir J. GILMOURI have no reason to suppose that the Committee which is considering this problem will delay making their decision.
