§ Mr. COOPERThe numbers of the Royal Army Chaplains Department, excluding the Chaplain-General, the Deputy Chaplain-General and civilian officiating chaplains, are 154 in 1913 and 140 in 1931. The cost of the pay of this Department, including officiating chaplains, was £67,000 in 1913 and £91,000 in 1931.
