§ Mr. ISAAC FOOTThe number of wage earners on colliery books has increased during the four weeks ended 6th February, by 4,500, namely from 835,300 to 839,800. There was a considerable increase in part-time working during the period, the number of days' work lost having increased from approximately three quarters of a million during the week ended 16th January to rather over a million during the week ended 6th February.
