§ Major COLVILLEI agree with the hon. Member that an improvement in the Press service between this country and Brazil is much to be desired. Owing to the competition with which they are faced British news organisations have hitherto been unable to establish themselves in Brazil, but the British Official Wireless is always available to the Brazilian Press should they care to make use of it.
§ Mr. HANNONIs the hon. and gallant Member going to leave the matter there I Cannot he take some steps in co-operation with the Chambers of Commerce at Rio and elsewhere to develop the Press service between this country and Brazil?
§ Major COLVILLEThe matter will be watched, but it must be remembered that this is primarily a matter for private enterprise.
§ Mr. HANNONIs the hon. and gallant Member aware that in South America our trade is suffering all the time because of the want of more intelligence?
