HC Deb 18 February 1932 vol 261 cc1808-9
57. Mr. HAMMERSLEY

asked the Minister of Health when he expects to receive the observations of the Medical Research Council and other competent research bodies on the statement by Mr. Spahlinger containing a formula for the treatment of tuberculosis?

Sir H. YOUNG

I am unable at present to say when it is likely that these observations will be received.

Mr. HAMMERSLEY

In view of the overwhelming importance of this matter to a very large number of people, will the right hon. Gentleman bear in mind the advisability of making a statement as early as possible?

Sir H. YOUNG

I can assure my hon. Friend that the public interest taken in the matter will not be lost sight of.
