HC Deb 15 February 1932 vol 261 c1270
34. Mr. McGOVERN

asked the Minister of Pensions the number of applications that have been made for pensions since the abolition of the seven years' limit and how many have been granted and refused?

The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Major Tryon)

I have no record of the total number of late applications that have been made. As regards the second part of the question, I would refer to the answer which was given on Tuesday last to the hon. Member for Deritend (Mr. Smedley Crooke), of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy.

Mr. McGOVERN

Do I understand the right hon. and gallant Gentleman to say that he cannot give the figures of the total applications?

Major TRYON

We have not got the figures of all the applications.
