§ Major COLVILLE (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. Both the President of the Board of Trade and myself were aware of these proposals at their initiation and extended a hearty welcome to them. In reply to the second part, arrangements are being made to invite some of the leaders of the delegation to attend the official banquet at the Mansion House on the night of the opening of the fair, and I understand that plans are under consideration for the suitable reception of the delegation by the authorities of the fair at Birmingham.
