Major BRAITHWAITEasked the Home Secretary if he will introduce legislation to allow licensing justices for a petty sessional division to make orders under Section 1 of the Licensing Act, 1921, for fixing different permitted hours for either different days of the week or different periods of the year, for applying to a part only of their licensing district, and for directing that the permitted hours shall end at 10.30 p.m. without such direction having to include the substitution of eight and a-half hours for eight hours as the total of permitted hours?
