HC Deb 09 February 1932 vol 261 cc653-4
62. Mr. JOEL

asked the Secretary for Mines if he can make any statement as to the results of the International Conference which has just been held further to consider the possibility of an international commercial agreement for the marketing of coal?

Mr. ISAAC FOOT

A report on this International Conference has been published. It is, I am afraid, impossible to summarise its contents within the limits of an answer to a Parliamentary question and I am, therefore, putting a copy in the Library for the information of my hon. Friend and others who may be interested.

64. Mr. LAWSON

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he is now in a position to state the Government policy in respect to the International Mines Convention?

Mr. FOOT

If the hon. Member will put down his question again two weeks hence, I hope to be in a position to make a statement.
