HC Deb 03 February 1932 vol 261 c131
13. Sir A. POWNALL

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department whether he can now give any information as to the negotiations for reciprocal trading between Russia and Italy and between Russia and France?

Major COLVILLE. (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)

So far as I have been able to ascertain, no agreements for reciprocal trading have yet been reached between the Soviet Union on the one side and France on the other. With regard to Italy, I have no knowledge of any such arrangement other than the Italo-Soviet trade agreement of 27th April, 1931.
