§ 22. Captain NORTHasked the Home Secretary whether he has any information as to the number of persons in this country who are the children of naturalised British subjects and who, being minors at the time of their parents' naturalisation, are still held to be aliens; how many inquiries have been received by his Department during the past two years with regard to such individuals who had hitherto considered themselves British subjects and who had been treated as such; and what decision was reached in respect thereof?
Mr. STANLEYMy right hon. Friend regrets that he has no information as to the number of such persons, and that separate statistics are not kept of inquiries with regard to them. If my hon. and gallant Friend will furnish particulars of the case or cases he has in mind, my right hon. Friend will be happy to inquire into the circumstances.
