HC Deb 27 April 1932 vol 265 cc360-1
37. Captain ERSKINE-BOLST

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of its importance to foreign visitors, he will arrange that facilities for passengers waiting shall be provided at the motor coach stopping places on the Embankment?

Mr. PYBUS

While I am anxious to assist foreign visitors to London in every possible way I have no power to arrange for facilities to be provided for passengers waiting at the motor coach stopping places on the Embankment, and on the other hand I wish to encourage the provision of these facilities on private property and not on the public highway.
