asked the Secretary of State for India, if he will state the present situation in respect to the disturbances in Burma?

No development of importance has occurred during the past week. I should add that in consequence of the breaking up of the main body of rebels and the surrender of their leader Myat Aung periodical reports on the rebellion will no longer be sent to me by the Government of Burma.
