asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he has any statement to make with reference to the negotiations between the Egyptian Government and the Air Ministry concerning the conditions of service under which British air officers and others are to be appointed to assist the newly created Egyptian aviation corps?

The conditions of service referred to by the hon. Member are in accordance with the normal arrangements which govern the loan of personnel of the British fighting Services for instructional and other similar duties with the forces of foreign Powers.
