§ Sir H. SAMUELThe results of this experiment thus far are satisfactory, but sufficient experience has not yet been gained to justify its extension to other prisons.
Captain BALFOURCan the right hon. Gentleman say how long will be needed for the results before be can make some further announcement?
§ Sir H. SAMUELI think this matter should be left to the discretion of the Prison Commissioners, and I have no doubt that they will take further action as soon as they think it desirable.
