HC Deb 14 April 1932 vol 264 c974
5. Mr. PARKINSON

asked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been drawn to the dispute at the Wellingborough boot factory of Messrs. Yorke; and whether his Department are making any efforts to effect a settlement?

Sir H. BETTERTON

I am aware of this dispute. The chief conciliation officer for the area has been in touch with both parties and has informed them that the services of the Department are available in any way that may lead to a settlement.
