CUNLIFFE-LISTERThe Governor of Ceylon has reported that he has referred Mr. Justice Garvin's recommendations as regards prison discipline to the Executive Committee for Home Affairs for their advice, and that he has asked the Public Services Commission for their recommendations as to the action to be taken against the officers of Welikada Prison who were concerned in the assaults upon prisoner Balasuriya.
