HC Deb 12 April 1932 vol 264 cc650-1
28. Major BEAUMONT THOMAS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that electric bulbs of foreign manufacture are marked in such a way that the markings can easily be erased; and whether he will take steps to require these bulbs to be marked in such a manner that the public shall not be misled into buying them in mistake for the British article?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

If my hon. and gallant Friend will let me have particulars of the cases he has in mind, I will have the matter investigated.
