§ Sir D. MACLEANDuring the week ended 7th November last approximately 113,000 children received free meals, including milk meals, under arrangements made by local education authorities in England and Wales. For the week ended 12th March last, the latest date for which complete figures are available, the corresponding figure was 139,000.
