Sir H. YOUNGNo, Sir. The Milk and Dairies Order is only applicable to England and Wales. The production of milk and milk products in other countries is subject to the special laws of those countries, and milk imported into this country is subject to the requirements of the Public Health (Imported Milk) Regulations.

Sir H. YOUNGThere is really a misapprehension on that point. The conditions of inspection of imported milk are really more exacting and severe than they are in the case of milk produced in this country.
