§ Mr. P. SNOWDENBreaches of the Orders in question constitute a misdemeanour punishable on indictment by fine or imprisonment. In reply to the last part of the question I am not aware of any cases.
§ Mr. WISEWill the Chancellor of the Exchequer say whose responsibility it is to enforce these orders? Is it the responsibility of the police, of the Attorney-General, or of whom? What 182 steps are being taken to see that the orders are being observed?
§ Mr. SNOWDENIf any case comes to the notice of the Treasury, proper action will be taken.
