asked the Minister of Labour when the report of the committee dealing with Regulations under the Unemployment Insurance (No. 3) Act will be available to Members?

Sir H. BETTERTON

The committee have held two meetings and will meet again to-morrow to consider thtir report.

Mr. GRIFFITHS

Has the Minister any idea when it will be available? Will it be before the House rises for the General Election?

Sir H. BETTERTON

I certainly hope so, and, as the hon. Member knows, under the terms of the Act it will be laid on the Table of the House.

Mr. THORNE

Are any regulations under consideration?

Sir H. BETTERTON

They have been considering them during the meetings which have been held.

Mr. THORNE

But have you submitted to them regulations for their consideration?

Sir H. BETTERTON

Yes, I have, and I am awaiting their report on what they think of the regulations.
