asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Government proposes to proceed with the guarantee of £120,000 per annum to the International Agricultural Credits Company?

For the present it is not proposed to proceed with the ratification of the Agricultural Credit Convention.

Were these credits ever available for our farmers?

No, they were for the benefit of Central European farmers.
