A scheme for the establishment of a regular airmail service to Australia is still under consideration by the Governments concerned. My Noble Friend is most anxious to see this scheme carried into effect as early as possible, but, since it involves payment of a subsidy, I fear that the financial situation is likely to retard its progress.
