MACLEANThe local education authority for South Shields proposed, in their revised programme, to increase the secondary school provision in their area by about 200 places, and these proposals have been approved in principle by the Board. If and when detailed particulars are submitted, they will be further considered by the Board in the light of Circular 1413.
