Mr. SIMMONSasked the Minister of Labour whether the inquiries into the possibility of providing adequate Employment Exchange facilities to serve the steadily growing population of the Erdington Division initiated by his predecessor are being pursued, and when a definite pronouncement may be expected on the matter?
§ Sir H. BETTERTON.These inquiries are being pursued both in relation to Erdington and to other districts in the 503 Birmingham area, as to which requests for additional Exchange accommodation have been received. I cannot at present say when a decision will be reached.
