HC Deb 30 November 1931 vol 260 c768

The following Questions stood upon the Order Paper in the name of Mr. THORNE: 87. To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer the dates of the funding of the Italian and French War debts, respectively; the terms of the settlements; and whether any portion of the debts arising from the settlements was added permanently to the national war debt of Great Britain? 88. To ask Mr. Chancellor of the Exchequer the amount of the French War debt to Great Britain at the time of the funding of the debt; and the terms of the settlement?

I have been asked to postpone these questions until Thursday. May I ask, on a point of Order, since I have already three questions down for Thursday, whether some of my questions on Thursday will be ruled out in consequence of the postponement of these two questions?

I am afraid that the hon. Member cannot have more than his proper allowance.

Then I am penalised.
