Miss RATHBONEasked the Secretary of State for India if he can now report on the result of the inquiries which his predecessor undertook to make last summer as to whether, and to what extent, the provincial Governments are carrying into effect the administrative measures recommended by the Joshi Committee two years ago as being necessary to the successful enforcement of the Act for the restraint of child marriage?
