HC Deb 25 November 1931 vol 260 cc388-9
20. Mr. CROSSLEY

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air, whether his attention has been drawn to the recent increase in the number of aeroplanes flying over the city and county of London, with consequent danger to life and nuisance from noise; and whether he will consider taking steps to remedy the matter?

Sir P. SASSOON

From inquiries which I have made I am advised that there has been no increase such as is suggested in my hon. Friend's question. I should add, as has previously been stated in the House, that there are regulations in force against irregular and dangerous flying and that breaches of these regulations are, and will continue to be, strictly dealt with.
