§ Sir A. SINCLAIRUntil further experience has been gained of the working of the Act it would in my opinion be premature to consider setting up a committee.
§ Mr. TRAINIs my right hon. Friend aware that Scotland has been promised time and again an inquiry into the working of the Act, which has now been working for two years and a half?
§ Sir A. SINCLAIRA number of modifications have been made in the administrative schemes, and there is need, I think, of getting these schemes further tried before we embark upon a formal inquiry. The possibility of having an inquiry, as was announced by the Prime Minister, has certainly not been abandoned.
