Mr. HUDSONAt 24th August, 1931, there were on the registers of Employment Exchanges in Liverpool, 72,709 persons wholly unemployed (including casuals) and 2,347 temporarily stopped. The corresponding figures for 9th November, 1931, were 77,646 and 1,516, respectively.
