HC Deb 12 November 1931 vol 259 cc259-60
46. Mr. SMEDLEY CR00KE

asked the Prime Minister if he is considering the advisability of taking immediate steps to stop the dumping of foreign-made goods in this country which we can make ourselves, pending the decision of the Cabinet with regard to any possible alteration in our fiscal system?

The PRIME MINISTER

Yes, Sir. I hope that it will be possible to make an announcement on this matter, as I said on Tuesday, without delay, certainly before the conclusion of the Debate on the Address.
