§ Order for Third Reading read.
§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Dr. Drummond Shiels)I beg to move, "That the Bill be now read the Third time."
2164 The Bill deals with a technical point, arising on the wording of the 1926 Act, which prevented East African Governments from raising loans. It corrects that difficulty. There has been a full discussion on both the Financial Resolution and the Second Reading, and I think it was generally agreed in all parts of the House that the Bill was desirable, and I shall be very glad if the House can see its way to give me the Third Reading now.
