HC Deb 19 May 1931 vol 252 cc1746-7
6. Sir K. WOOD

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he can now give any information concerning the conclusions of the Economic Committee of the League of Nations on the question of dumping bounties and subsidies?

The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. William Graham)

I can add nothing at present to the answer I gave to the right hon. Gentleman on the 24th March. No further information is likely to be available until after the next meeting of the Economic Committee, which I understand will be held in June.

Mr. BROCKWAY

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether the British Government have taken any steps to bring the proposals for import boards before this committee?

Mr. SPEAKER

That matter does not arise out of the question.
