§ Mr. SHORTThe matter is not one with which the Home Office is immediately concerned, but my right hon. Friend is advised that it is the practice of registrars of county courts to deposit in the Post Office Savings Bank, or to invest, money paid into court either as damages or as compensation.
§ Mr. THORNEIs the hon. Gentleman aware that in one case a young man has lost a good deal of money merely because the registrar did not deposit the money in the Post Office Savings Bank?
