HC Deb 04 May 1931 vol 252 c26
55. Mr. SHAKESPEARE

asked the Postmaster-General how many times the Post Office Advisory Committee has met during the last 12 months?

Mr. ATTLEE

The Post Office Advisory Council met in March and December of last year, and it is my intention to convene another meeting in the near future.

Mr. SHAKESPEARE

Will the Postmaster-General call a special meeting of the committee to consider the question of the development of telephone policy, and how it can be speeded-up?

Mr. ATTLEE

That was one of the matters discussed last year, and I shall discuss the question with them when I call the committee together again.
