§ Mr. HAYES (Vice-Chamberlain of the Household)I have been asked to reply. On the 10th March, 1931, 304 cases had been in His Majesty's Land Registry for more than 21 days. Of these, 254 were awaiting action by solicitors or expira- 1667 tion of notices. In no case was there delay from causes over which the Department had control.
