asked the Minister of Labour the number of unemployed persons in the pottery and earthenware trade in January of the present year and the corresponding figures for 1929 and 1930?

At 26th January, 1931, there were 28,040 insured persons in the pottery industry classification recorded as unemployed in Great Britain as compared with 15,097 at 27th January, 1930, and 13,485 at 21st January, 1929.
